Building the handbook (1.0-alpha-6-SNAPSHOT in trunk, r17438) fails because org.docbook:docbook-xsl:zip:1.75.0 cannot be downloaded from Maven Central. It seems the necessary DocBook artifacts are actually present, but under the groupId net.sf.docbook. It would be nice if it was possible to build the handbook without downloading libraries manually or add repositories.
The supplied patch uses net.sf.docbook:docbook-xsl:zip:ns-resources:1.75.0 along with net.sf.docbook:docbook-xsl-saxon:1.0.1-pre, the latter replacing extensions/saxon65.jar from the full DocBook distribution.
