I had set <jwscTaskType>JAXWS</jwscTaskType> in the plugin config and it still did not work. What exactly was the fix? I found blog that describes a similar problem (http://www.southsearepublic.org/article/2678/read/maven;_enum_types_are_not_supported_on_a_jws) and I tried their fix and it worked by adding the following line of code: final JwsFileSet jwsFileSet = module.createJwsFileSet(); jwsFileSet.setType("JAXWS");
