Juraj Misur commented on MVERSIONS-182 Improve versions:use-releases goal I think this goal is missing 2 important features: As Bogdan described, I would also very much like use-releases goal to replace parent version from SNAPSHOT to stable (same version, not latest; although there is update-parent goal, it replaces to latest parent version). Additionally, use-releases goal could replace SNAPSHOT with stable in properties which manage dependency versions as well (similar to display-property-updates but actually replacing to stable version, not latest).
