Hi all,
Maybe next week or so, I'd like to release the extra-enforcer-rules jar
(not a plugin).
I've read http://mojo.codehaus.org/development/performing-a-release.html
A couple of questions:
* am I allowed to do that as I'm still a newcomer?
Can't think of a criteria why you're not allowed. There's always a first
time, sooner or later. Only by doing it you'll get the experience. Don't
worry, there are enough teammembers who can help and verify the release,
especially for firsttimers.
* is there something particular I should know before releasing (that's
not
in the guide)?
http://mojo.codehaus.org/development/performing-a-release.html#Preparing_to_Release
covers most things, although it looks quite strict for certain bullets.
I'd prefer to have a close look at the checkstyle-reports.
I think we should add the extra-enforcer-rules to the Sonar-report
(https://sonar-ci.codehaus.org/components/index/6822)
If not, then I guess I'll just (try and) proceed as explained in the
guide
and call for a vote.
Thanks.
