This one https://github.com/phaus/osxappbundle-maven-plugin/commits/master made some minor changes to the plugin that could be interesting for the broader public. After I worked with packagemaker on another project, I can tell that packagemaker was marked deprecated from Apple and replaced by pkgbuild and productbuild. I think it would be a good idea to add support for at least pkgbuild to ease the creation of an installer.
