Dan Lipofsky commented on MRPM-131 error: line 2: Illegal char '-' in: Version: 1.0.0-SNAPSHOT Note: this worked in 2.1-alpha-1 (you could specify release without specifying version and the "-SNAPSHOT" would be stripped off the project.version and you would get exactly what you want). It only broke in alpha-2, so you can work around this by going back to alpha-1. See also MRPM-142
