I looked and didn't see how I could join JIRA?

 

Haven't been able to work on a patch yet.

Not sure which plugin you're referring to. Also, the best way to ensure that an 
enhancement request is not forgotten is to file a JIRA ticket. The instructions 
are on the plugin's doc site (look for "issue tracking"). Attaching a patch 
will speed things up. :-)
