I believe I finished the release right now. I changed the plugins.apt file, and also executed mvn site-deploy. However I ran into an issue where I was seeing the 2.7-SNAPSHOT as the current release, so I rolled the website back. The website works now and shows the 2.6 as the current release. I also closed the 2.6 release version in jira and opened up a new release version 2.7. I'm sorry about not being very quick about this at the moment. I don't get internet until Friday, so I have been using the wifi at starbucks.
