The smoke it build is failing. Seems to be a problem with some of the org.apache.logging.log4j dependencies. Here's the error:

I've attached a patch with a dumb fix - the offending deps are removed from the smoke pom. Is this a sufficient fix or is there a deeper underlying problem?
