Dan Tran commented on MAPPASM-203 The input line is too long. dont think it is a bug since your project has lots of dependencies to be put on the classpath variable. And windows does not like it. The work around is to use widecard http://mojo.codehaus.org/appassembler/appassembler-maven-plugin/assemble-mojo.html#useAsterikClassPath
