John Gibson commented on MVERSIONS-235 lock-snapshots doesn't work with properties Given that the update-properties goal already exists and does the hard work of linking properties to dependencies I looked into implementing this feature. However I backed off when I learned that the update-properties code doesn't handle properties that have been defined in a parent but used in the child (which we do a fair amount). I'd suggest fixing the parent/child property issue (MVERSIONS-134) before implementing this feature.
