Rickard von Essen commented on MRPM-79 BuildArch is not included in generated .spec file It seams that the correct behaiviour is to add BuildArch: noarch only when <needarch>false</needarch> in all other cases don't add BuildArch and RPM will autodetect. Using the supplied patch fails the build for example with <needarch>x86_64</needarch> with the error from rpm: error: line 15: Only "noarch" sub-packages are supported: BuildArch: x86_64
