Thank you for the response.  I wasn't aware of the 1.5 compatibility
issue;  I just thought that the code was under some bit-rot, since it
looked like it hadn't been touched in 2 to 3 years.

I'm not sure if the main issue that I fixed is actually in need of
*my* patch though.  According the MLATEX-9 issue, this has already
been fixed in February 2011, but for the *next* release (1.2) of the
plugin. As a commented over two years later noted, that version still
hasn't been released.  So there's better code already floating around
somewhere.  I didn't see a way to access code other than the current,
but somewhat dated, 1.1 release.  How could I see the latest code so
that any patches I'm submitting aren't clobbering them?  The source
repository listed on the project page [1] only seems to provide code
for version 1.1.
