Issue Type: Improvement Improvement
Assignee: Unassigned
Created: 24/Jan/14 7:07 AM
Description:

We spent some time trying to figure out why changing a certificate was causing issues with launching a new version of our webstart applications with a warning about resources signed with different certificates. We traced this to the fact that the jnlp descriptors built using the example templates are not versioned.

e.g.
http://mojo.codehaus.org/webstart/webstart-maven-plugin/examples/default-jnlp-servlet-template.vm

Should have the following attribute in the jnlp element

version="$project.version"
Project: Mojo's Webstart Maven Plugin
Priority: Major Major
Reporter: Jon Freedman
