I fixed it by explicitly specifying which java files to generate in pom.xml, rather than use */.java: <includes> <include>com/example/MyClassToGenerate.java</include> </includes> And also making sure that the namespace is included in pom.xml and in my class: (pom.xml): <transformSchemas> <transformSchema> <uri>http://www.example.org/myClass</uri> <toPrefix>myClass</toPrefix> <toFile>myClass.xsd</toFile> </transformSchema> </transformSchemas> (MyClass.java): ... @XmlType(namespace = "http://www.example.org/myClass") public class MyClass { ... Also it just prints the word "null" on screen, but seems not to process any java source files -- while "mvn -X" shows that all of them are contained in the actually used execution configuration.
