Jesse Byler edited a comment on an issue   Re: flatten-maven-plugin: ability to preserve developer information Thanks for this!  I think the FlattenMode "minimum" is strangely named, however; it would seem more appropriate to call it "maximum" since it enables a superset of the POM elements from the other options.  The value that includes the smallest set of POM elements (out of the 3 options) is ossrh. Also seems a little strange to me that <repositories/> is kept by default but not <pluginRepositories/>.  Personally I think neither should be included by default, but if we're going to include <repositories/>, we should probably include <pluginRepositories/> too for consistency.  In which case "minimum" becomes redundant as it's equivalent to "oss". However, in some cases too much information is stripped from the POM for the flattened POM. E.g. my OSSHR deployment fails with this error: Invalid POM: /net/sf/m-m-m/mmm-util-core/4.0.0/mmm-util-core-4.0.0.pom: Project name missing, Project description missing, Project URL missing, SCM URL missing, Developer informatio...
