Karl-Heinz Marbaise edited a comment on an issue   Re: System property value loses the last quote After diving into this problem i found out that this a problem of  [  Maven itself |http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNG-5681]  but to be honest Maven uses commons-cli which really  [  contains the bug . |  https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLI-185 ] . So unfortunately i can't fix  thigs  this  bug in exec-maven-plugin  not  until Maven could be updated to a newer version of commons-cli. Add Comment   Mojo's Exec Maven Plugin / MEXEC-120 System property value loses the last quote If property value ends with double quote (-Dsome.propery=some.value\") then in code last quote of value is missed.
