jieryn commented on an issue   Re: Please support -Dgwt.usearchives <soap-box> I'm not willing to fight this as a battle, but by closing this we're basically saying that nearly every configuration option can be removed from the maven plugin and pushed into this extraJvmArgs parameter and is therefore illegitimate. I'm not sure how we can have any standing for adding any other options other than extraJvmArgs.. The direct override of extraJvmArgs is kind of a bandage over slow gwt-maven-plugin releases where we were behind GWT compiler options. But eventually everything GWT exposes, should be tweakable as a first class citizen in the maven plugin. </soap-box> Add Comment   Mojo's GWT Maven Plugin / MGWT-349 Please support -Dgwt.usearchives We need to have the ability to code -Dgwt-usearchives=false for GWT compilation and execution as a precursor to using GWT 2.5.0 under the IBM JDK.
