Hello all,

Since I'm in the process of performing a major upgrade to the jaxb2 plugin,
I'm contemplating setting maven 3 as a minimum for using the plugin. This
implies 3 things, I think:

   1. Remove the Maven 2.2/JDK 1.6 platform for the plugin ITs
   2. Set a maven prerequisite of 3.0
   3. Document the minimum Maven requirement in the Site.

These things feel fairly simple in terms of code.

Is it OK to require maven 3 as a requirement for a major plugin upgrade?
