I would suggest something like {code:none} [INFO] /path/to/basedir/src/main/java/pkg/Clazz.java:[88-99]: [VA_FORMAT_STRING_USES_NEWLINE] Format string should use %n rather than \n in pkg.Clazz.print(PrintWriter) {code} If you agree, I could try to write a patch for this.
