Juan Calero commented on an issue   Re: Problem copying dependent jar files I run into this problem quite frequently. It's easy to reproduce if you use Eclipse and the m2e Maven integration. With this configuration, you can end with a JAR containing two pom.xml and pom.properties int he META-INF folder of a JAR in the MAven local repository. One of the pom.properties states "#Generated by Maven" and the other one "#Generated by Maven Integration for Eclipse". This is not a webstart plugin bug, but maybe the plugin could be smart enough to detect the situation and avoid the failure in the unpack200 phase. In at least some cases, the copy is corrupted in some way that results in a failure when pack200 is run. See the stack trace below (full mvn output is in the attachment).
