Unfortunately, the tests for my largest project take nearly 5 minutes to run in CI, so having them run twice is really painful. I would simply run mvn cobertura:cobertura to avoid the second execution, but I just discovered that any failed tests don't fail the build (MCOBERTURA-195). This JIRA hasn't been updated in over a year. Is the issue dead? P.S. I hate that I'm even considering this, but I found a python script that will convert JaCoCo XML to Cobertura XML: https://github.com/rix0rrr/cover2cover A fixed cobertura plugin would be a much happier solution, however. AFAIK, there's no way to do this and it's a major issue when doing CI.
