Hello Sean,

What leads me to say that the problem is in the dataTable is that the checkbox on the first tab never looses it's value, even if you switch tab.
So, when no dataTable is involved, we don't have the bug.
That doesn't mean the bug is in the dataTable, but I think the probability is high.

It seems like when you switch tabs you lose the checkbox value.  I
would look to a problem in panelTab first.  I will try and look at the
code more this weekend using ViewCVS since I will be away from a
development machine until late Sunday.  Otherwise I will look into it
Sunday night.
