Sean,

The SVN scheme in use is just https, I think. Not https+ssh. There is no SSH involved. The only ports that are affected are 80 and 443 from the firewall's point of view. Apache are just using simple https with BASIC authentication.

The network monkeys at my workplace are having trouble opening the
firewall for us so we can use SVN. I am unable to do anonymous
checkout using http but interestingly, I can do checkout via https.

Since my coworkers are using myfaces and would like to access the
latest code, can they use https for checkout only? That seems to work
without using SSH. I am guessing that the combination of SSH and
https is needed for commit only.

Thoughts?
