P.S.:

Sean, why I couldn't extend your component right away: the choices are
in the case of your inputSuggest given out to the user by including
several select items in the inputSuggest tag - imagine a hundred
thousand streets in a database, you wouldn't be able to do that with
selectItems included in the main tag.
