Volker Weber commented on MYFACES-506:
--------------------------------------
Or getTimeZone() must also used in getAsString().
The current behavior is that successively call getAsString() and getAsObject()
as is done in one request results in a change of the Date objects value
if no timezone is explicitly set and the system default timzone is not GMT.
You can reproduce the problem if you deploy the follwing tags an just press a
few times on submit.
The hour changes on every submit.
Of cause you neet a 'date3' bean of type java.util.Date. I'm using the date.jsp
from simple examples.
<h:inputHidden value="#{date3}">
<f:convertDateTime pattern="HH:mm" />
</h:inputHidden>
<f:verbatim><br></f:verbatim>
<h:outputText value="#{date3}"/>
<f:verbatim></p></f:verbatim>
<h:commandButton value="Submit"/>
> DateTimeConverter.getTimeZone should return the default time of the GMT zone
> by default
