I agree that this is the RC process working as it should. I also agree we should label the rc's but this is missing from the now automated process of building the rc's. Its better to build the RC the same way as the release then it is to have the RC1 in the name. At the time I built the RC I didn't have time to address both so I chose the automated process that is the same as the release process.
We'll label them correctly shortly. For everyone who doesn't like to use nightlies in their production environment ... TEST NOW ... not after the release. sean On 10/2/05, Werner Punz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Sorry it was meant as a private mail, anyway, > I just filed a jira on this one as a showstopper > > > Werner > > > Werner Punz wrote: > > Hi Wendy, now I can give something back for your help back then > > in the struts users list. > > If you do not have a jira account for myfaces yet, I could dump it into > > jira for you if you want, > > I cannot fix the problem since I am not actively involved in this build, > > yet. > > > > > > Werner (I hope you can remember me, you helped me out recently in the > > Struts list) > > > > > > Wendy Smoak wrote: > > > >>From: "Sean Schofield" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >> > >>>There is a 1.1.1 release candidate available. > >>>http://cvs.apache.org/builds/myfaces/release/ > >> > >> > >>There are two reports on the user list that 1.1.1 is causing a previously > >>working app to just display a blank page.
