I'll take that question ;) Web-applications of the future will be delivered to a multitude of devices and output formats. The applications will use the browser-inherent XML-GUI-definition languages (think: XUL, think whatever Microsoft comes up with finally) to ensure that the user interface is up to the par with desktop applications. As soon as IE knows how to to that as well, there'll be no way back if you want to build good web-applications.
As a fallback, (X)HTML will be rendered to all the "old" style browsers. How do you want to implement this if you intersperse your JSF-tags with HTML? regards, Martin On 12/22/05, Korhonen, Kalle <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Adam Winer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2005 11:23 AM > > Subject: Re: svn commit: r356552 - in > > Hope I'm not coming off as insulting any of the committers > > here.
