Just so you know, JSF 1.2 is now available in the public maven 1 repo at

maven.repo.remote=https://maven-repository.dev.java.net/nonav/repository/,http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/

Of course, this won't work for several reasons:

1. It's a Maven 1 Repo.  

2. It's JSF 1.2.
