Maybe in the Jetty 6.0 artifacts is an a javax.el implementation.
Jetty has the groupId org.mortbay.jetty.

You might try asking on the facelets-dev mailing list.
I know there's supposed to be a java.net maven repository, and my
understanding was that facelets would be added to it at some point.
It should be the same place you find the JSF RI 1.2 jars.
