Setting the attribute allowExternalLinks to false, disables the capability of
the editor to edit tables. In the code the tyle="display: none" is added to the
span <span class="kupu-tb-buttongroup">...
The rest of the output is unchanged. I guess the posibilty to use external
links in the editor is not really disabled than.
