Yet another directory in our "current" thingy, yet another entry in our pom.xml and maybe another couple of poms for the module itself. Not to speak about the release process and testing (demo webapp). Lets do it in tomahawk-sandbox for now, what happened afterwards is another story. If a company is willing to use a non-releasable tomahawk-sandbox they also might not have any problem with the poi dependency, especially, if they are not forced to use it if they do not use the excel exporter. Maybe again the wording here is a problem, what if we treat the tomahawk-sandbox as myfaces-sandbox .... However, we need a playground where we not have to deal with such politics, just commit (via jira if non-committer code ;-) ) and see what happens. When the community accepts and use such components we can discuss if we create a new sub-project for it, no? Just my 2 €-cent ;-) Ciao, Mario
