Hi Aleksandra,

Instead of display using outputText use below snippet

<%!

    ResourceBundle bundle =null;

    public void jspInit() {

        bundle = ResourceBundle.getBundle("com.xxx_alert");

    }

%>

alert('<%=bundle.getString("selectOne")%>');

Thanks & regards,

- Raju K

Subject: [jira] Commented: (TOMAHAWK-620) Inline JavaScript does not get
the same character encoding as the page

Hello there,

I am not sure if you can help me, but I will try. I am trying to fix the
javascript alerts shown within a JSF page to display French accented
characters correctly. Is there anyway I can do this? I tried
manipulating the outputText tags in every-which-way with no success. If
there is anything you can suggest please do.

Thank you in advance,

Aleksandra
