looks like a misconfiguration in orchestra file

<property name="flashScopeManagerConfiguration"

class="org.apache.myfaces.orchestra.conversation.FlashScopeManagerConfiguration"
/>

instead of

<property name="flashScopeManagerConfiguration"

ref="org.apache.myfaces.orchestra.conversation.FlashScopeManagerConfiguration"
/>

-D
