AFAIK, both formats initially came from somewhere else and have been modified slightly in Maven land. Probably neither of them would work in their original homes now. Either format is fine with me-- he who does the work gets to choose. :) If I were to write something it would be in APT because I prefer the simpler syntax. -- Wendy
