Mario and I have discussed this and found both some problems and opportunities.
As a result of our discussions I've pushed a lot of Orchestra config down into
the FacesContextFactory now, making orchestra less dependent on filters for
*JSF* requests.
This will hopefully simplify configuration for people doing JSF, and might
resolve some filter-related issues in portlets.
Be warned: the code hasn't been well tested yet. It would be great if you could
try this. You will need to build from the source.
