The problem is here:

        function oamSubmitForm(formName, linkId, target, params)
        {               
               /*......................*/
                if((typeof target=='function') && target != null)
                {
                        oldTarget=document.forms[formName].target;
                        document.forms[formName].target=target;
                }

maybe we should do this instead

                if( target != null)

or maybe
         
                if(typeof target!='undefined')

I will take a look to see what is better
