This generally looks good to me.

Style issue: this patch uses tabs for indentation, and does not use the myfaces 
braces style. 


This looks suspect to me:

Maybe I'm just misreading the patch file but this:
                  return new Object[] {in.readObject(), in.readObject()};
appears to be ignoring the object computed above.
