This is not a problem of t:validateEmail.
There was an error ( MYFACES-1882 validator property of UIInput do not saved
and restored (myfaces-faces-plugin error) ) on myfaces 1.2 that cause this
unwanted behavior.
This is not present when you use tomahawk core12.
