BlackBerry navigationPane does not show selected item

Different navigation panes are rendered properly (list, page items,
choice,tabs...), however the first time the component is loaded the focused
tab/list item/.. are NOT rendered as selected. Neither when switching the focus
to a different tab/page item/bar item/button/list item, these are not rendered
as selected.
