"<alias> cannot be resolved" warning in Eclipse
-----------------------------------------------

                 Key: TOMAHAWK-1349
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMAHAWK-1349
             Project: MyFaces Tomahawk
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Alias Bean
    Affects Versions: 1.1.7, 1.1.6
Environment: Configuration details: Windows 2000 SP4, Eclipse Europa
3.3.2
JSF Implementation: SUN RI 1.1_01

            Reporter: Stefano Gibellini
            Priority: Minor

Hello,

I'm using Tomahawk (versions 1.1.6 and 1.1.7) in Eclipse 3.3.2 (Europa) but I
experience a nasty message when I use the "aliasBean" component. When I set
the "alias" attribute to the EL expression I want to use as a placeholder of
the real bean, Eclipse emits a "cannot be resolved" warning on the alias
specified. This isn't a problem in the execution phase (all goes well), but
fills the Eclipse message area of unwanted (and I think wrong) messages. I
don't want to disable the JSP/JSF validation (it's useful in the development
phase), but I don't know how to resolve the problem. I'm not sure it is a
Tomahawk or Eclipse problem, so I wrote here to verify this.

Best regards.
Stefano Gibellini
