Hi Victor,
you may take a look at the lifecycle implementation of tobago.
To integrate partially reload request into the jsf lifecycle we
decided to implement a ajax aware lifecycle instead
of using the common phaselistener approach.
The phases applyRequestValues, validate and updateModel are only
executed on the requested subtree.
