We should add it, but we need a small extension on the myfaces side to get it cleanly in. What I would need would be an extension on the myfaces side to add custom classloaders on top of everything via a context parameter! To get it in, once that is done we can add the extension (it is still in private repo)

The main issue I was facing was that the extension itself relied on a somwhat hackish approach to add a custom classloader at the correct stage!

So my question regarding this, is, can we add this without vioating the specs regarding JEE, they are afair somewhat picky regarding classloaders!

        hello werner,

currently we have several nice extensions.

+ we discussed that 'commons' should stay stable.

-> my suggestion (instead of the commons project):
let's setup just one further subproject.

        name of the subproject:
        e.g.: myfaces-extensions

which contains something like (in chronological order):
        - myfaces-extensions-aspectel
        - myfaces-extensions-seven
        - myfaces-extensions-scripting

Excellent maybe this is the perfect place for orchestra as well...

+1 from my side to the extensions subproject.
