Mamallan Uthaman commented on TRINIDAD-1519:
--------------------------------------------

Trinidad generates JavaScript and style sheet files depending only on the
user-agent's capabilities. Mobile version of Safari browser is known to support
many features like its desktop version. Hence, Trinidad considers Safari
running in Nokia S60 as a desktop safari browser in order to leverage the
features available in S60's Safari.

Also, with respect to the JavaScript file, Trinidad doesn't have different
versions for desktop and mobile browsers. If Trinidad finds the user-agent
capable of supporting JavaScript, it sends the JavaScript file to the
requesting browser.

Unless the size of JavaScript and Style Sheet files creates a performance
problem in S60, I believe Trinidad's current-behaviour is acceptable.

If S60 cannot handle the size of the JavaScript file then we can consider
S60's Safari as a basic HTML browser for which no JavaScript file will be
delivered. But it will be a trade-off, we cannot leverage many feature of S60's
Safari.
