hi rudy,
you are welcome!
just fyi: you can also write to the dev-list in such cases (see cc).
yes - that's a nice idea. the steps to get it in:
- create a jira issue [1] (issue type: new feature)
- attach the two files to the issue
("Attach file" in the menu and agree with the license - see "Grant
license to ASF for inclusion in ASF works" in the "Attach Files" screen)
i'll do the rest.
thx for sharing your work!
regards,
gerhard

> Hello,
>
> Sorry to disturb you on this email address but I couldn't find any easy
> other way to contact you.
>
> I'm currently investigating the extension validation framework and I'm very
> impressed by the functionality.
>
> Playing with the RequiredIf annotation, I was wondering about another
> usecase that pop-ups now and then. A field should be empty when some
> conditions are met (like another field is filled in, a checkbox is marked,
> ...)
>
> So I created the functionality for myself and would like to share the
> result with you. The result is in attachment.
> When you think it is useful for the framework, you are free to incorporate
> it.
>
> I'll keep digging in the framework and find out the other beauties.
>
> Best regards
