Hi Jan it currently works only on the unix side of things, and you have to adjust the source pickup paths in the web.xml. (you can locate them easily)Outside of that it should work out of the box, you can start the examples via jetty:run-exploded.
The problems we had with the wrong versions of myfaces being picked up have been resolved by my last commits.
