It sound reasonable. I experienced that issue too when I was testing myfaces in 
OSGi, but spring dm solves it. It does not affect TCK, because it test both 
jars at the same time.

Jakob, if you have time, feel free to move them for all branches (1.1.x, 1.2.x 
and 2.0.x).
