Is it required for you to use JSF2/Trinidad 2 ? Remember they're still alpha versions... The demo in 1.2.13 does work, but it might be broken in 2.0... If not, try with Trinidad 1.2.13, demo 1.2.13, and myfaces 1.2.x. Also try the online demo at http://www.irian.at/trinidad-demo/faces/index.jspx . Popups might be block by popup blockers...
