Hi everyone, as it seems with my next commit tomorrow we will get
another small speed boost.
I have a testcase which runs about ppr 500 requests in a crossform
submit and so far the numbers look good.

a) We are now down to basically zero mem leaks and dom leaks on ie6 and
have about 30% more speed than mojarra which still is leaking dom nodes
and mem.
I assume the numbers are similar on ie7, given that dom leaks are a
major performance killer on ie.

b) We are bascially at the same performance on firefox 3.6 maybe
slightly faster now (hard to measure)

c) Slightly Faster on Firefox 4

d) Mojarra failed on chrome and opera, my testcase works on both
browsers in myfaces.

I guess the 2.0.2 release will be a major performance improvement in all
areas.

I have some testing to do especially for the part I have added for
Martin Koci but then I will commit the latest codebase.

Note this is the pure performance including the server component (including my oamsubmit fix, to reduce the generated code down to normal levels) so the server also has some saying in those numbers, I might run the test against a pure servlet in the future to get a cleaner picture on the plain client performance.

But things definitely already look very good.

Werner
