Andrei Zagorneanu commented on TRINIDAD-971:
--------------------------------------------

I would like also to ask for tr:panelTabbed skin improvement. Currently each
tab is displayed only as one TD (af|panelTabbed::tab). It will be nice to have
more selectors for this, something like af|panelTabbed::tab-start,
af|panelTabbed::tab-mid, af|panelTabbed::tab-end. This will allow a better
customization and use of images for tabs. Also we can borrow some selectors
from tr:navigationPane with hint='tabs'.

> Improve skinning of panelTabbed (was: Add hints attribute to <tr:panelTabbed>
> tag)

>
> The default skin for trinidad renders the tabs of pannelTabbed as links
> without any kind of skinning to make it look like a standard tabbed pane.
> Either (1) the default skin should provide graphics more akin to the
> navigationPane with tabs or (2) an alternative skin should be provided with
> better LnF for all components (one was just committed but I have not seen it
> yet)
> Changing the default skin would be good for new users but may be a problem
> with backwards compatibility.
> Original description:
> Currently a simple tabbed pane is still missing from trinidad. This could be
> solved by adding an hint="tabs" (and other values, see <tr:navigationPane>)
> attribute to the <tr:panelTabbed> tag. This would be much cleaner than other
> work-arounds currently available.
